Emotional Intelligence: Overview

Emotional intelligence (Ei) will impact your work life and your professional success.  It is a set of skills you can learn that will enhance the leadership skills and bolster your current level of influence.

Every workplace has its own culture with expectations and standards for performance. In the mix of culture and norms are different personalities, moods and experiences that will require you to manage. The greater your awareness of your emotions, the better able you are to manage others.

Ei is your ability to manage your own emotions and those of others in order to get your goals accomplished.
